Stick #17: Modest Achievement (Moderately Favorable)
粒粒辛劳粒粒收，小成亦是好开头。莫嫌进步微微慢，再进一层在上头。
Plain reading
This lot says grain by grain of labor brings harvest — a small win is still a good beginning. Do not scorn slow steps; the next level is just above. Celebrate, then aim higher.
Interpretation
"Modest Achievement" is a moderately favorable stick. Each effort has its return. Small success is a true start — "one more level above" warns against stopping at enough.
Situation notes
- Career: Finish small project or pass small test — take the next task.
- Relationships: Relation may deepen — engagement or meeting parents can be discussed.
- Wealth: Small income — save as seed for next venture.
Common misread
Auspicious tiers (such as Moderately Favorable) are tone, not a verdict. Name one action you control before redrawing.
Advice
Mark the small victory, then set the next target at once.
Drawn from Laozi — "nine-story tower rises from piled earth" — symbolizing tiny work building height.
