Stick #35: Hide Your Light (Neutral)
藏锋敛锷待时鸣，大器从来晚乃成。眼下且宜低调过，他年一鸣天下惊。
Plain reading
This lot says keep low profile now. Sharpen in shadow; great vessels finish late. Do not flash wealth or merit — when hour strikes, one cry may shake the realm.
Interpretation
"Hide Your Light" is a neutral stick. Like Li Bi hiding talent — edge sheathed till time. Now be quiet, less envy; later one sound may startle all.
Situation notes
- Career: Let work appear at assessment — not early trumpet.
- Relationships: Keep private matters private — love lasts.
- Wealth: Wealth hidden saves — save more, show less.
Common misread
Auspicious tiers (such as Neutral) are tone, not a verdict. Name one action you control before redrawing.
Advice
Less boast of gain or skill. Train where none watch — results speak at review.
Drawn from Old Book of Tang — young Li Bi met emperor, later hid in hills, returned to aid rule — late bloom of great talent.
