Stick #37: Rest to Await the Weary (Neutral)
养精蓄锐候良机，敌疲我逸胜可期。不急一时之胜负，后劲足时定出奇。
Plain reading
This lot says store strength while others tire. Do not decide all in one rush — save reserve; when foe flags, your strike lands. Rest now, win later.
Interpretation
"Rest to Await the Weary" is a neutral stick. Like Sunzi — rested against tired wins. No need win instant round — keep backend; move when they fade.
Situation notes
- Career: Prepare long, sprint late — shine at end.
- Relationships: Pause mid-argument — talk when cool.
- Wealth: Cash king — buy low when others exhaust.
Common misread
Auspicious tiers (such as Neutral) are tone, not a verdict. Name one action you control before redrawing.
Advice
Keep energy and cash. Act when market or rival shows fatigue.
Drawn from Art of War — "rested against weary, full against hungry" — gather then strike.
