Stick #46: Let Diligence Be Your Foundation (Neutral)
勤能补拙是良言，一日不勤一日偏。手勤脚勤心亦勤，天道酬勤自古然。
Plain reading
This lot says diligence mends slow wit. Skip one day's work and path bends. Hand, foot, and heart all busy — heaven has long rewarded the steady worker.
Interpretation
"Let Diligence Be Your Foundation" is a neutral stick. Diligence repairs dullness. One lazy day skews the month. Whole self in labor — old truth, heaven pays the steady.
Situation notes
- Career: Study and produce daily — merit seen.
- Relationships: Daily word and presence — love fresh.
- Wealth: Earn and save actively — no lottery wait.
Common misread
Auspicious tiers (such as Neutral) are tone, not a verdict. Name one action you control before redrawing.
Advice
Three small daily tasks before rest. Diligence is not huge burst — it is unbroken chain.
Drawn from Family Instructions of Yan — "skill beats hoarded coin" — and Zu Ti dancing to rooster — diligence rises, sloth falls.
