Stick #27: Diligence Required (Neutral)
天不下雨人耕田，收成全在己身肩。莫怨时运偏淡薄，功夫到了自成全。
Plain reading
This lot says heaven will not plow for you — harvest rests on your shoulder. Do not blame thin luck; when skill is full, things complete. Less asking the oracle, more doing today's tasks.
Interpretation
"Diligence Required" is a neutral stick. Sky does not rain for idle fields — yield is yours to earn. Do not blame fate; effort completes the circle.
Situation notes
- Career: Promotion needs results — raise quality.
- Relationships: Love needs tending — speak, stay, share load.
- Wealth: No windfall — overtime, side work, thrift.
Common misread
Auspicious tiers (such as Neutral) are tone, not a verdict. Name one action you control before redrawing.
Advice
Ask less, act more. Finish today's list item by item.
Drawn from Mencius — "eat without plow, cloth without weave" — and Shun farming on Mount Li — self-reliance brings harvest.
