Stick #28: Keep Within Your Place (Neutral)
守份安常心自宽，越界贪多反招难。本分之内勤行事，平安便是大平安。
Plain reading
This lot says keep your boundary and heart stays wide. Crossing for more brings trouble. Work hard inside your lane — great peace is simply peace. Do not take what is not yours.
Interpretation
"Keep Within Your Place" is a neutral stick. Peace in keeping part; greed beyond line invites harm. Duty done well — safety is the greatest safety.
Situation notes
- Career: No stealing credit or skipping rank — do your part.
- Relationships: Respect space — no excessive control or snooping.
- Wealth: Avoid high interest schemes — salary is base.
Common misread
Auspicious tiers (such as Neutral) are tone, not a verdict. Name one action you control before redrawing.
Advice
No extra meddling, no taking others' share. Boundaries bring calm.
Drawn from Analects — "noble mind does not leave its post" — and Yan Hui's simple bowl yet constant joy — staying in role brings peace.
