Stick #50: Let Perseverance Be Your Foundation (Neutral)
锲而不舍金石开，恒心可破万重关。半途而废空费力，持之以恒事必完。
Plain reading
This lot says steady carving opens metal and stone. Perseverance breaks ten thousand gates. Halfway quit wastes all prior sweat — hold the line till work is whole.
Interpretation
"Let Perseverance Be Your Foundation" is a neutral stick. Never stop carving — even metal and stone yield. Constant heart breaks barriers. Half path empties effort — hold till finish.
Situation notes
- Career: Daily advance — work completes, rise follows.
- Relationships: Daily care — love does not fade.
- Wealth: Regular save and invest — wealth slow, sure.
Common misread
Auspicious tiers (such as Neutral) are tone, not a verdict. Name one action you control before redrawing.
Advice
Choose one thing for hundred days. Break chain, lose chain. One thing through beats many starts.
Drawn from Xunzi — "carve without ceasing, metal and stone yield" — and foolish old man moving mountains — constancy finishes hard things.
