Stick #60: An Uncertain Future (Slightly Unfavorable)
雾锁前程看不真，吉凶未卜莫轻身。观望等待三五日，云开方见路头新。
Plain reading
Fog locks the road ahead — fortune and misfortune cannot be read clearly. Wait and watch three to five days; when clouds lift, a new way will show.
Interpretation
This is a slightly unfavorable lot titled "An Uncertain Future." Mist hides the path; good and ill cannot be judged. The verse says wait three to five days until clouds part and the road appears — stillness is wiser than rash movement.
Situation notes
- Career: If several offers or changes appear, compare them — do not sign the first at once.
- Relationships: If love is unclear, observe several days — do not rush to bind a lifetime.
- Wealth: In market fog, hold cash; do not chase rises and falls until direction shows.
Common misread
Auspicious tiers (such as Slightly Unfavorable) are tone, not a verdict. Name one action you control before redrawing.
Advice
Postpone every major decision three to five days; gather information only, draw no conclusion. Watch daily change; when the fog lifts, then step forward.
From the Records of the Grand Historian: when Laozi left through Hangu Pass, Yin Xi watched for purple air and knew a sage was coming — a sign that quiet watching can await heaven's signal.
