Stick #61: Patience Required (Unfavorable)
欲速则不达其功，耐心等候运方通。当前且把躁心敛，时来运转在秋冬。
Plain reading
Haste will not reach the goal — patience must wait for fortune to turn. Calm your restless heart now; change may come by autumn or winter.
Interpretation
This is an unfavorable lot titled "Patience Required." Haste defeats its purpose — impatience now will only harm the matter. "Fortune turns in autumn and winter" shows the turning point lies ahead, not before; quiet your restlessness and wait for the season.
Situation notes
- Career: Promotion or project results are not yet out — keep doing your duty and await the hour.
- Relationships: Love cannot be forced hot — steady flow outlasts lightning passion.
- Wealth: Compound interest needs time; do not churn accounts because short-term gain is thin.
Common misread
Auspicious tiers (such as Unfavorable) are tone, not a verdict. Name one action you control before redrawing.
Advice
Turn "must have results now" into "do a little each day." Set a fair waiting period and execute without judging inside it — before autumn and winter, do not overturn the plan from impatience.
From Vegetable Root Discourses: "Time itself is long, yet the busy shorten it." Those who achieve great things have always found power in slowness — patience is strength.
